Ok so I post a question about RAM and i wanted to know what i should go with.
u all said Crucial Ballistix.
so I bought 2 gigs and started playing with it as soon as it was in the computer.
this is what i got and i want to know what u have been getting.

i ran it at 4-5-4-4-12 800MHZ @1.9v I had to run the 5 cause of this new POS msi k9nsli mobo.

i bumped up the voltage to 2.1 and ran it at 5-5-5-5-15 at 980MHZ.
its like a freaking rock. WOW.

so what are you getting?

thanks again all for all ur input. u kick ***!

ddr2 1000 tracers and they hit almost 1200 and did not hiccup. 5-6-6-7-14 @ 2.3v

jason4207 900Mhz 4-4-4-6 2.15v

llChaosll Im at 928 @ 4,4,4,4,12.

inkfx I've done 650mhz (DDR2-1300) 5-5-5-8.

Kai_Force i use 1167mhz @ 2.2v 5-5-5-15 for my 24/7 use, but ive gotten them to 1200mhz before.

jason4207 I've also done 1080MHz 5-5-4-10 2.2v

jiggamanjb 1150 @ 5-5-5-18 / 2.2v

At that speed I had to loosen up the timings alot to almost 5-6-6-7-14 but it was fun, Oh yah that was at 2.3v which was a little high for my taste.

I can hit higher but dont want to sacrifice cpu speed for a little xtra ram speed.

I ordered a set of these the other day. I should have them Tues. I can't see what I can get out off them. Seems like they want pretty high voltage. I'm hoping to get some more speed out of my proc.

I just got a set of this in this evening from the Egg. I have to RMA some OCZ stuff back and I tried just dropping it in at the OCZ's speed and timings but no go. I will play with it later though and see what it will do. But on first impression, it doesn't seem to want to overclock as well as my OCZ DDR2 900 or my G. Skill DDR2 800 HZ's. But we'll see. :D

I already have a 2GB set of the 6400's that I got in beginning of the summer, and I just ordered a second set from the buy.com deal for $40 after two MIR's and a coupon. Should be interesting to see how overclocking compares between two sticks and four sticks of memory. I'll post back once I receive them.

I think I payed around $110 for 4GB of this stuff, which is nuts when you consider not long ago it was $200 for a 2GB set of DDR1.
