I can run my crucial 6400 tracers @ 444-12 up to 960mhz 2.2v. i can get it to got 1000 mhz 444-12 2.2v but not orthos stable....i am currently in windows @ 1200mhz 555-15 2.2v but its not orthos stable...i think im going to up the voltage to 2.3v...is 2.3v safe?
dude the stuff OCs great! i was pushing mine harder and harder. had a fan blowing on them and they took a poop. both of them.
i think it might be a voltage jump on my mobo thats causing them to take a dump.
i might move up to the 1066 stuff and RMA the 800s and put them in a different rig or use as back up.
i love the D9s but dont want to go with anyone but crucial cause they seem to be the best.
btw good work to all with the super OCs. cant wait to see more and if they can take a higher voltage then 2.3-2.4 for long times and last. 5-5-5-5-15 at 1200MHZ kicks *** man!
My Motherboard gives me a DDR voltage fail if I go up to +.03 volts. But I ran my ballistix at 940mhz with memtest/orthos and they ran fine. Any ideas?
I've got a pair right now doing 1000Mhz (500x2) at 5-5-5-15 at 2.0v. I have a feeling there's quite a bit more left, and I think I may try for 1050 way later tonight or early tomorrow morning.
Edit #1:
Doing 1066 at 5-5-5-12 at 1.9v now. They wouldn't post at 1200 using 5-5-5-15 at 2.2v via the 4:5 divider, but I may try again with just higher FSB. I never trust dividers anyway
Sweet, now running at 1072. I took out the kingstons, & updated the latest patch of the crysis & it doesnt lag anymore.
I dont know what was causing it, it wasnt the kingston ram cuz I had it in their before.
I might order me another 2 GB crucials so I can have all 4 GB installed @ 1072.
I got my Ballistix set to around 1240mhz at 2.35v with 5-5-5-15 timings on the P5N-E. Haven't had a chance to try out the Tracers or HZ's yet though. 24/7 OC's in sig.
I am a total noob. But I will tell ya what I did yesterday.
I run my 1064Mhz @ 1111Mhz @ stock voltage and timings of 5 5 5 15. I have no idea what latency and CAS is about yet. I will not touch voltages as yet cuz I have no clue. I dont wanna fry them so sooon, so I will stick to frequencies.
