Well I've owned my PSP back since April time frame. The first couple weeks I had 2 games this summer I added 2 more. Just 2 weeks ago I added 3 to my collection and I could easily get a 4th but thats just adding it up to much right now.
I love the features the options with the PSP and even the firmware updates are mostly useful adding new features. The systems potential isn't fully used even yet with the processor only at 266 out of 333Mhz total for the system. Its more powerful then the PS2 yet theres not games out to show its potential. As for battery life it does last a long time suprisingly as how many say its a short one.
I've played the DS before not alot but a little cusion of mine has one and I've tried it out. While yes it was kid games but still. I didn't like the feel for it and even though the touch screen idea is nice, its not my cup of tea. Not to many games I'm intrested in but the Metriod and Mario ones is what I'd get if I had one.
PSP has its downside as well with me to, mainly sorry to say but it could be much thicker. I get craps after a few hours of playing it just due to hand position mainly. As well the UMD movies are basically useless, never had one but seen some in action, and all I can say, whoopie its a stripped DVD no features basic settings for it.
