Hey everyone! I've been reading posts in this forum now, and I've decided to build a new gaming rig. I wanted some specific answers, so I decided to make an account. I hope I can learn a thing or two in this forum and I hope to help in however I can to make this forum a little bit better.

I'm 16, and I wanted a new gaming rig. I took a lot of time into researching how the products fit together and picking parts. However, I really want to keep it under $850, but I just cant seem to work out the numbers.

My Build So Far: [items I definitely want to keep have an asterisk (*)]

1) ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard $103
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131647
I'm in search of a better MOBO, but I'm having some troubles finding one. I'm willing to go up to $130

2) AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor $120 (*)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103808
I think this is the best CPU for now, but I want to know what the difference is between this CPU and a X6 1055T

3) EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) FPB 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 $138
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130625
If you can find a better video card for less, then please let me know. (I heard this version was the best one for this type of card, but I'm ready to hear opinions)

4) CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) $50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233164
It's actually sold out today, but I'm willing to wait for it. I want to know what the difference is between DDR3 2000 and DDR3 1600 RAM. I heard that OCing a 2000 is better, but if there is really no difference, this I can go for 8GB on 1600 (or not, to save money)

5) Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAKX 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive $75
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136770
I don't care for space, as long as it goes over 250GB, as I will be playing BF3, which takes up 20GB. I wanted a HD that is 32MB cache, but I also heard that there is no difference if you're looking for it. But I am open to recommendations.

6) OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular High Performance Power Supply $75
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341017
I have no idea if I even need 600W, or if this specific PSU is even good and reliable. Please tell me what I should do and buy.

7) ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM (*) $20
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204
I heard this is the best one on NewEgg, but if I am wrong, then tell me.

8) TRITTON AX 120 Performance Gaming Headset for Xbox 360 (*) $60
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16874704005
I really want a gaming headset, and one that's compatible to XBOX and PC. If there is a cheaper one, then please let me know.

9) RAZER Arctosa Black USB Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard $40
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823114009
Because of the budget issues, I decided to go cheap and get this one. I was thinking about having the Sidewinder X4, but that was to expensive for my budget so far. If I do get the cost cut down I may switch.

10) RAZER DeathAdder Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Precision Optical Gaming Mouse (*) 50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153055
No changing my mind, I want this son-of-a...

11) Rosewill DESTROYER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147144
I'm not sure if I want this one. I want a case that's $50 or under though, so if there is a better one, please let me know.
I checked out the Challenger, but I don't like how it looks. I think the Destroyer has not aesthetics, but if the Challenger is a better case, than I'm willing to switch.

12) Kensington 56001 Optics-Enhancing Mouse Pad - Black $5
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826999006
Because I don't have a clothe pad. If there is a better one that can fit budget when the total price gets reduced, then feel free to let me know.

TOTAL: $871.83 (with the shipping, which I'll get rid of once I sign up for free 2-day shipping)

Please help me address these problems, and any help will be greatly appreciated. Like I said before, I hope I can contibute to this forum as much as I can, and I hope you guys will have me!

~Thank you,
Ious

THANK YOU

In case you are wondering about this first thread, for some reason the first post got deleted and I couldn't edit this one. So I made a new thread and after it registered, I'm able to edit now. Kinda weird...
