Give me the fastest CPU OC'd for my dad

EDIT: Ok now my dad has told me he wants the fastest possible, says "don't care". still wants Athlon 64.

So I was looking at newegg, and aparently there is FX-51, FX-53, and I believe FX-54. Then there is A64 DTR which is half the price. Anyone know the differences? Whats the speed differences like?

Eh, with a newcastle, you could get probably around 2.3 to 2.4. Depends on your ram and motherboard. You could get a much higher OC on an Athlon FX, but those are really expensive.

Normally I recomend AMD like mad, but there is this Intel 3.0C I heard about that runs at 1.25vcore stock and supposedly will overclock like mad .
