Has anyone found out how to fix the 5.1 sound problem in Max Payne 2?

I'm still not getting any sound out of my center channel and it's really bugging me... I don't want to have to switch my speaker setup from 5.1 to Quadrophonic every time I play Max Payne 2. Has any one fixed this yet?

nope only thing you can try is the new patch. But i still doubt that is going to fix it as i dont know anyone that has gotten 5.1 to work good in max payne2

Try switching to AMD, I heard this only affects Intels.

I never had any problems w/ Max Payne 2 running in 5.1 mode...

What are all your settings with your soundcard and in Max Payne 2? Are you sure you have your speakers set up in 5.1 Surround mode in the Audigy options?
