How much can I lower my CPU temp

I'm thinking of buying a Alpha P3125 cooler and I wonder How much it would lower my CPU tempratur.
And how far my CPU will go.

Pentium 3 500mhz
Asus mid-case
128mb pc100

Hi!

I suppose you are using the standard heatsink that comes with the processor? If yes, then an Alpha will bring down your temperatures, but what temps are you reading now? (In celsius if possible, thanks!)

The lower the temps, the higher your CPU will overclock!

Wow, that is very hot! Getting an Alpha should lower your temps quite much, so get it as soon as possible!
