Is it possible to use a SCSI HDD on a non-SCSI compatible MB?

I have a Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H Board... and soon I'll have a GA-990X-UD7 Board to go with my FX8150 Zambezi Eight Core CPU...

I was wondering if it were possible with new technology to actually run a 15,000 RPM SCSI HDD on one of the above mentioned boards?

I currently run two 10,000 RPM Raptor drives in a RAID-0 array (which is recognized as a single 20,000 RPM drive... but SCSI would be a much easier option if possible

for me scsi just makes to much noise :D

I dont game... My system (albeit overkill) is a media center... and I keep the volume high.

Do you need an adapter to connect a SCSI drive to a SATA3 connector?
