Milestones Update

For those that haven't heard SETI@Netherlands is hosting a 2009 Gauntlet starting later this month. The Gauntlet is a crunching race and had been an annual event for late fall/winter until last year. There were some problems in 2007, which I think have now been addressed, so this event should be a good run! The idea of the Gauntlet is to improve your crunching power during or just before the race and late September should be cool enough to tune up those rigs, bring some out of hibernation, and do some serious crunching again!


Razorface has set another blaze at the 25,000,000 Milestone!

btoups slipped past the 17,000,000 and claimed the 18,000,000 Milestone!

muddocktor has passed the 16,000,000 Milestone!

Svirfnebli has crunched past the 13,000,000 Milestone!

QuietIce made the 11,000,000 Milestone!

boox2 has overtaken the 10,000,000 Milestone!

eaglescouter grabbed the 9,000,000 Milestone!

Codeman05 raced past the 7,000,000 Milestone!

RuthlessRufus jumped from 17th into the Top 15!

Jeff pushed slimm out of the Top 20!!!*

N-Zane-B flashed by the 3,000,000 Milestone!

Toomnymods slid into the Top 30!

rfrman passed the 2,500,000 Milestone and also made the Top 30!!

cjc_75 crunched through the 1,500,000 Milestone!
Sending that marker below the Top 50.

Brandon McDaniel passed the 1,250,000 Milestone!

RAdZer0 cleared the 750,000 Milestone and slid into the Top 100!!

jmorgan sailed past the 600,000 Milestone!

Shecky made it into the Top 125!

CryptokiD raced past the 400,000 Milestone into the Top 150!!

OGMCVilleTC made the 300,000 Milestone and a slot in the Top 150!!

Bootlag2004 also made the 300,000 Milestone and the Top 175!!

Chris Schaeffer also took a slot in the Top 175!

Rick Sadler made the 250,000 Milestone while taking the Top 175!!

kchambo also made the 250,000 Milestone!

Rebturtle and
Bob Keifer both slammed the 200,000 Milestone!!

Don C. retook a place in the Top 200!

Legolas transferred over from UK BOINC already sitting on the 1,500,000 Milestone and in Slot #48!!
Legolas has been crunching since Feb 02 and runs a pair of Q6600's and an E8400.

Ackuria recently made the 6-Digit Club!
He's been with SETI since Sep 06 and is currently using an E4500.

Eli Woods also made the 6-Digit Club!
Eli Woods has only been crunching since Apr 09 but his Q6600 is adding CobbleStones up fast.

After about a month break im starting to Climb back up in RAC. Once I get this Tesla Workstation running with Seti, I would expect to see me in the Top Spot for RAC before too long.....Nobody is safe when You can get 4TF of computing power in One Box haha.

So you can run SETI on a Tesla? How does it distribute the Wu's? One per card or just one per box?

Milestones Update

With the Gauntlet just around the corner several of the participants are showing signs of action - including a new member and a couple of members we haven't seen much of recently. We're still reviewing the Gauntlet team for a possible split but we haven't heard back from our friends at S@NL, so we'll have to wait and see. As usual or points leader starts the show ...

Razorface also made the World Top 50 this month!

Well, I had planned to post the Milestones here but there seems to be some problem with the Stats this morning. Everything was going fine until I got down near the 300,000 mark. After that I don't know what happened. BOINCStats is showing about 6 people breaking through the 300,000 mark then haven't had any activity for at least a month. I tried to double-check with Berkeley and they're offline. So, until I can get some type of confirmation of the numbers posted at BOINCStats I'm stopping everything with the Milestones.

I will go ahead and post the Leaderboard for the week - at least the BOINCStats section. If Berkeley comes back on-line later today I'll add theirs as well ...
