MS-6167 Hardware monitor chipset???

Guys, have this MS-6167 mobo, and after installing both PC ALERT III and MBM 5.05 found both say it does not have a hardware monitor chipset. Is that for real? I'm desperate to turn it up (just a little bit...he he) but want to do it the right way and know for sure that temp monitoring is key to success...
Anyone??
