Who's actually been waiting for it? NOBODY's been waiting since 1997. It's just been amusing to see it connected with the phrase "Coming Soon" for the past ten years.

What I've been waiting for (hoping is probably a better word) is a game that can take me back to my roots. It ain't gonna happen.

Looks like it might be decent. Hopefully 3d can follow through. Caca happens... but maybe the poo storm is over and they can actually deliver. I'm not getting my hopes up, mind you, I'll have other games to keep me busy until then (among other things)... but Duke back in his full glory would pwn face big time.

Duke Nukem 3D was awesome... I'll give you that. And if the exact same team that made it are still alive they're probably atavistic Nazis who roll-up babies and use them to burn money.

The best idea they can use is to just make the game, stay quiet and then announce the game's completion once it's gone gold. That's ALL they have to do. The longer they drag it out, the less people will remain interested in it.
I swear if they just up and said "Oh by the way. DNF is finished, it's gone gold and it will be on store shelves world wide in a week" Do you guys have ANY idea the **** storm that would create?? People would be murdering each other to get their copy. That week before the release they could just pepper the intrarweb with all ill forms of media, screen shots, in game clips, let all the sites except gamespot feast on a short playable demo and then rake in the money.
That's how I'd do it.

Don't really know what to think. It's always just around the corner, coming soon. It will sell when it comes out, so bring it out all ready. I played one version of Duke but it's been so long I cant remember the title.
