I built my computer with a Nforce 420-D chipset, I read somewhere that its sound could make jealous a SB-live (not the audigy) but I had in mt previous system a Philips acustic edge, also very good sound...
Now I don't know if I should stay with the onboard sound or use my acustic edge. would it be any performance gain for the system? should it sound better than the onboard audio? (I know that is a very dificult question without testing)
I have the same cambridge soundworks fps2000d speakers (4.1) of my old system and I fell that the sound is not the same (could be just an impresion, I haven't used the acoustic edge for a long time)![Roll eyes  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
