Great news guys. The new ATI tool beta works under vista!

I'm seeing what my 8800 can do right now.

its does what it says in the instructions (if i did it its easy)

good find i hate the other control off for a bench and a little  or three while i do it cheers again :)

I get my 8800GTS 640MB tomorrow. Last time I OC'd a video card it was a Geforce3 Ti200. So, what is the general consensus on the best OC'ing program to use?

I'd recommend ATI Tool...it's nice and easy. Not that Riva is hard, just that ATI Tool puts everything right out in the open. If you've never used Rivatuner, it takes a minute or two of clicking around to find what you need.

I was using Rivatuner like 5 years ago. I'm sure it has changed a lot since then, but I think I'll give ATI Tool a try first (I'd feel more comforatable if it was called "Nvidia Tool" lol :) )
