Question: 4 monitors not using active-DisplayPort adapter on a single GTX 9xx

Looking at the GTX 9xx series, there are many DisplayPort outputs:


Is it possible to use DisplayPort-to-DVI cables without using an active-DisplayPort adapter to power 4 monitors at the same time?

Background info:
My goal is to power the following 4 monitors at the same time:
1x only takes DVI-DL
2x only takes DVI and VGA
1x only takes DVI, HDMI and VGA

I would imagine that DP to DVI would work just fine. I assume they are all 1080p monitors? Could always pick one up and try it on all 4 monitors to make sure, and if so pick up the other 2.
