question about the fah client

using linux, 2.4.20 rh9.0
it locked up my computer after reaching frame x, when I rebooted, it started from frame 0, now, what would happen if I kill it with ctrl-C (or kill it's process) and reload it at any time? it will start from 0 frames? why can't it remember finished data?

If you stop the F@H client under normal conditions then it should continue where it left off. Since the folding client had an issue it just scratched that work unit and started over.
