A couple of weeks ago I posted here on obtaining 2.5Ghz with the 2400+. I've gotten a new motherboard since then hoping for a little bit better of an overclock. The board I am running at the moment is an Abit KD7-RAID KT400 motherboard. Previously, I had been using an Abit KX7-333R motherboard, and I must say- the KX7-333 overclocked my 2400+ much better. I am only able to reach 2400Mhz with this KD7/Vapochill combo.
Temps are slightly higher with this motherboard and it pulls considerably more voltage off the +12v rail than the KX7 did, not to mention the data corruption at FSB's >200Mhz.
Maybe we will all have better luck with an NForce2 board
b.t.w., the case mod is now 100% done:
