Hi i'm new to these forums, but since everyone is soo interested in these JIUHB DLT3C's I have some info to share, I work at a local computer shop, my boss is pretty cool cause I get to test pretty much any hardware I want. Anyways, here are 8 cpu's I have tested, have a look.

Prime tested under windows xp sp1 with ACPI.

Apic, firewire, sata, com1/2/printer disabled.

Motherboard: Abit NF7-S Rev 1.2 (killed 2 already, SAVE AND EXIT MY A**!)

Ram Used: 512 Infineon DDR-333 2.6 volts @ Ram Timings 6-2-2-2.

FSB: 166FSB 5/5 (all tests were at this)

CPU: Many 1700's

Vcore: Ranged (1.5 to 1.9)

Vagp: Default

Chipset: Default (1.6)

PowerSupply: Enermax 460W (33 Amps on +12 Volt). +12volt fluctuated between 11.92- 12.6 volts. +5V never moved @ 5.06. One thing to note is, with my first two rev 1.2 nf7 the voltages were quite a bit higher but they died :(

Video: Geforce MX (just for testing)

---------------------------------------------
Bios used is 015, tried 16 and killed 2 boards with bios 16 (not from the flash, but the SAVE and EXiT screen), so I decided not to flash to 16 this time for testing.

All CPU's Were tested with a Vantec Aeroflow and the paste that the fan comes with.

(great heatsink/fan for the price)

First cpu:

AXDA1700DLT3C 9392267-27-1028

2.166 ghz @ 1.5 volts
2.25ghz @ 1.575 volts
2.5ghz @ 1.825 volts. max temp 55 cel

Posted 2.6ghz with 1.825 volts but did not want to test at this speed with this cooler.

Second cpu:

2080mhz @ 1.5 volts

2500mhz @ 1.825 volts max temp 58.50

posted 2.68ghz with 1.825 but failed to load windows.

Third CPU:

2500mhz @ not stable up to 1.93 volts

This cpu is kind of a dog as far as the DLT3C's go, starting to see a pattern with the alphabet XPMW, too eary to tell but so far the WPMW seem better/ more consistant.

(any voltage past 1.85 volts these DLT3C's wont boot properly)

Sixth CPU:

JIUHB 0310-W-PMW @@1999amd

2500MHZ @ 1.80 voltage (1.76-1.795 actual)
Totally stable, best cpu so far, and runs cooler, at 52.5 celcius...

Only testing max speeds from here on out, getting tired of regular tests, seems these chips do not benefit much from "burn in" like the DUT3C cpu's..

Seventh CPU: AXDA1700DLT3C 9392267-27-1029

2500mhz @ 1.825voltage (1.81-1.82) not stable.. gave up on this one.

Eighth CPU: AXDA1700DLT3C 9392267-27-0625
JIUHB0310WPMW @@1999AMD

2250mhz @ 1.625 volts

K I give up, too tired to keep testing, when we get a new batch of cpu's in at work next week, i'll try to test them as well.

The only conclusion I can make from my limited testing are a few assumptions. Most of the info I heard regarding these cpu's were incorrect like the color of the core, to the "lower the number on the string of digits ""939226727-(0743)" the better. I think this is incorrect. I belive it's just luck of the draw that will yield a cpu that does 2500mhz on air with acceptable voltages and decent temps. After testing numerous cpu's i'm glad I found a cpu that does well, 1.78 volts 2500mhz stable is good enough for me. I hope some of this info helped.

wow definatly helps as everything you listed usually takes about 5 differant peoples experiances.

oh and btw welcome to oc.com forums!and that test setup kinda looks familier :D

Thx for the Welcome guys, when I have time I usually grab a bunch of hardware and test it to it's limits, so hopefully I will have other stuff to contribute to these forums, I'll keep you posted If we get new steppings any time soon.

Your contributions are more than welcome here. And tell your boss " Thanks For The Support.

EDIT:
Would you happen to have the 0307 vpmw available for testing ? Thats the highest $$ 1700 at Excaliber.
I noticed you guys in Ontario are getting different steppings codes from what were getting here. Has anyone seen a "W"xxx stepping here in the states ?

how about testing some twinmos 3700 on that abit? id love to see some info on that.

And they can be a little difficult with the Epox EP-8RDA boards especaily if they have the Winbond chips

Im currently playing with the 1700dlt3c 0310xpmw and once i have reached what this is capable of i will post here i have had it at 2500mhz 12.5 x 200 ran stable in 3D mark 2001se but only lasted 12 minutes in primes torture Test :( have it stable at 2289mhz at 1.650 volts at the moment but im push for the 2.5 and these chips are so cheap out here it's worth seeing how far i can push it!!!

Great info, thanks! Yeah I noticed that the "w" 0310 chips seems to be mainly in Ontario only, I'm getting mine later this week.

Actraiser, those temps are pretty high. Does the NF7 read from the internal diode, or are those surface temps? Did you check what the temps were at default speed? I heard that these newere DLT3C chips run hotter, but that's a bit more than I expected.

very nice info. Thanks for all the work you put in there. Can't wait to read some more results when you have time to test some more :)

I just got back from a computer show today, I picked up 3
0309 1700+ that all say they are marked down 2800!?!?!?

Unfortunatly my Chaintech Zenith burned up and is (hopefully)
being replaced. not sure how long thats going to take, but
I'll try and post some overclocks later this week.

Does anyone have any info on how the 310's with the "U" instead of the "W" are performing as far as overclocking goes????

so it seems that it truelly is luck of the draw with all the dlt3c's....thats fine with me:D I just didn't wanna get a bad one but if I get to 2.4 I will greatly happy.....he also didn't seem to have trouble with voltages which is what I heard was a problem with all but the XPMW's maybe the 310 isn't as good as the 308......hmmm I wonder..well anywho thanks a ton for all the testing:D

well, mebe i didnt notice, but what kind of cooling did you use? i am just hoping that my SLK-800 will work ok, and that i can hit 2.5GHz riding a 200FSB on my A7N8x DX. Thanx a lot for all that info...man...how long did that take...
