The 750Ti is $50 cheaper, consumes less power and overclocks really well. I'd say this has to be the best card in the $150 range if you can live without SLI. :)

so thats that,is there any way to get a cheaper mobo for this, and whats the real world performance hit for 8gb vs 4gb(little things to make it fit in the budget)

You'll run out of RAM with 4GB for gaming on modern titles.

You keep mentioning "little things to make it fit in the budget", but my first link was $50 under your given budget of $500.
Was that not an accurate number?

Edit: Looks like the original post got changed to $450 now. If you want a computer and monitor for $450 then go buy a Dell.

It would have been helpful to know that up front.....

What sites can you buy from in India? I expect we can get decent pricing on parts there, then save you on shipping.

Here you go.

Have fun with it

Yup, go with this build. It's perfect for your budget. And as for the Phenom II unlocking, not all CPU's are unlockable. My friend had a PII x2 that had been unlocked but was not stable, no matter how hard he tried. The cores are locked for a reason-u may end up like him, getting failed cores. It's about luck.

Are you from India? I'm from Kolkata...so if you can tell me your budget in INR, I can help you to some extent.

I'll defer to DJ on finding parts now, he'll know Indian shops much better than I ever will.

thanks guys.just the same as the budget given.450x60 = around 27000 INR

bro, thanks but i cant buy stuff from flipkart.they dont ship to my pincode.only amazon ships to my pincode

Only thing I'll say here is that I wouldn't trust that motherboard (or any motherboard with a weak power section) with an FX at full load.

Even if you buy from Amazon, there shouldn't be much difference

I think that if the OP does not OC the FX 4300, the mobo should be able to handle the 4300 at stock.

4 phase board no heatsinks... isn't it hot in india? I would at least get something with heatsinks on the power area...
