SUSE 10.1 update problem

Sorry but I'm a newbie but having done a search here and Google can't find the answer. Was trying to update SUSE 10.1 and get the message "The installed product is not compatible with the product on the installation media."

Suggestions?

I'm not into Suse so forgive me my ignorance..
How are you trying to update? Is this using a cd/dvd and clicking "update" or something? Or is this using Yast?

It was trying to use yast on-line.

Never mind, I've moved up to openSUSE 10.2 and it doesn't have the problem.
