Don't do it, peltier cooling is a huge pain with little payoff. It's better to spend the money making a better watercooling setup than dealing with condensation. You've gotta give the TEC it's own power supply, and if any part of your cooling fails everything can go sour much faster than with water.

Yeah I tried it back in 01, it was cool getting ice on the waterblock and I did reach some good overclocks, but I wouldn't risk it on my main PC again.
 
:beer: hahaha trust me, I too have a graveyard of old parts in my spare room. Might even have my Tandy 1000 in there somewhere LOL!
Just for the last few years have been quite intrigued by some of the settups I've seen here and there and think it would be fun.

edit: anyone know of a radiator I could use that would cover the whole back of that desk?
