Hello OCForums. I've been running Socket A with AGP since I replaced, a different Socket A with AGP :)
So I was going to ask everyone's opinion on a build which I think is quite good. I'll be doing things like Audio recording/editing for my band. I play games and like high resolution and AA/AF and may consider dual monitors. I also overclock, and would probably do that :) Let me know your thoughts on this:

With MX518 and a simple keyboard. After shipping before 55 of rebates it's $1320

Kinda sorta, I was hoping for some price drops/sales on some of the stuff in this setup. I'm not too sure about i5, i7, or Core2Duo. I'm pretty open to most, just seein' what ya'll think.

With a budget like that, you would be silly not to go i5/i7 really... If you are only running single card, you may be able to save a few dollars on a PSU or get a different one for that matter. Corsair 750TX comes to mind for $120.

Aight so for i5/i7 what would you guys recommend, motherboardwise, to fit in that general range? And the reason I chose that PSU is because I've had nothing but good experience with SeaSonic, and I may get a 2nd videocard in the future.

Gigabyte P55-UD4P would work I would go with the Corsair 750tx because its just as good as the Seasonic and is cheaper.

ironic it is the same price at the 650tx...

I believe its a CWT build

yea it is according to the review OW did on JG. i do believe the 650TX is seasonic based, though i really like the new SS X-650. makes me want to ditch the 650TX i just bough about a month ago...

Yea OP go with a I5 750 cpu and say the UD3R or UD4P. if you want something smaller the GA-P55M-UD4 is a great board.
