I'm sitting here, staring at the bios, restarting and not knowing what to do. The computer I have doesn't have a cd-rom drive..or it does, but it's broken. So I have to use an external USB cd-rom drive for all my cd needs. Now, I need to do some testing on this computer, but I'm not sure how to boot to a CD. Here's the choices I'm given:
CD/DVD/CD-RW Drive
Diskette Drive
USB Storage Device
Internal HDD
Modular Bay HDD
Onboard NIC
Cardbus NIC
D/Dock PCI Slot NIC
Even if I tell my BIOS to go through all of these, it still will not boot from a CD in my external CD-Rom drive. ANy ideas?
