Been looking at the following PSU's /all modular for a triple-sli 570 setup:

http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?cPath=33_443

Here are the requirements:
1) Must be under $200
2) Must be a Gold Standard PSU
3) Must be at least 1000 Watts, whether that be peak or normal usage, still have to be able to support three cards in SLI and still allow me to overclock to 4.0 Ghz and feed 12 GB of triple channel memory.

What is the minimum rating for the power supply I should get? 850? 1,000W?

What brand is preferable? I know Antec and Corsairs are nice but what about Coolermaster?

Is the power-supply being GOLD or Silver/Bronze such a big deal? What do you think in your experience?

And finally, last but not least the ultimate question: Which one would YOU get!!! :D

Help me!!! I will become your best friend I swear.

So far the list is between the following two:
Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1000W Power Supply (RS-A00-80GA-D3) $ 189.99

OCZ Z Series Gold 1000W Modular Power Supply (OCZZ1000M) $ 178.88 (after a $50 rebate)

What do you think? Should I not bother with either and go for something else entirely from the list?

Thank you MIAH and Earthdog! Appreciate it! You guys are the best, can always count on your expert advice. Will get it by the end of the week.

(and I apologize for putting it in the wrong section)

Update: Sorry fellas the 1,000 Watt just didn't feel like it cut it. I got the OCZ 1250 ZX series for just a few bucks more. $285 for a power supply, but so far the dual-sli works like a charm. It's even gold rated with a five year warranty, so let's see how long it will last. One more card to go.. I just hope the DF-85 has enough space in its chasiss for three. If only I could get the memory up to 1200 mhz ... :: sigh::

Thank you all, it's been a while.
I got a OCZ ZX Series 1250 Watt PSU and it works just fine in a Triple 570 Sli machine with a i7 960 at 4.0 Ghz.

I am happy with everything and rather not keep tweaking everything. I think three power houses of graphics cards are enough for the speed of the chip too! :)
