XP "notifications"

U know those tool-tips popup things that appear, like when a display is at 800x600 and it CONSTANTLY keeps saying "not enough room to display all items" or something like that.

How do you turn those off?

tweakui to the rescue, yet again

Yea, i've heard a lot bout it. On my win98 system i used LOTS of tweaking progs (including an OLD version of tweakUI) but i eventually stopped using them because i found that they:

A) cause conflicts
B) conflict with each other
C) Do things unexpected
D) take up too much resources and HDD space (remember this was a 350 with 64meg ram and a 4 gig HDD or something like that).

But yea it's cool and it works
It's not for this system, i'm putting it on my laptop (which i'm selling) so that annoying "not all items can be displayed" thing keeps coming up (it's only 800x600 max)

i used a tweak utitlity, ( think tweakxp ) for the ballon feature, but sometimes it STILL popped up. maybe i did something wrong.
