“Did a project of my own: Swiftech MC-462 (for AMD) to my 2gig (478) PIV! Well, this test only confirms your findings: Intel Guys did a good job. With 80×80 fan around 2000rpm, temps are down only 2-3C at full load. It seems hard to make a better efficiency/noise combination for the PIV.”
