FYI Q6600 & board

looking at thismorning papper FRY'S has Quads&an ECS board for 179.95

Ok. So I stroll over to the local Frys tonight. Took off work early.

Have to P/U a mobo for the wifey, hers died.
What do I find? Abit IP35-E $50.

I get the guy to write up a paper for it & he asks me if I knew how much they were?
Yeah, sticker price. Duh.... $50.

He says $9.90.


I say, make it 2 then.

That was @ 7:00pm. It's a bit after midnight.
I just got done installing the 2nd mobo.

Neither one worked.
Back in the morning they go.

4 IP35s, 1 AB-9, not sure if I should try the other 2 or not. ( )

I could hear the Hdd spin up, but no vid from either.
I started with a PCI-e card & double checked with a good PCI card.

DOA.

Would have made GREAT BAR/AAR boards too.

Next time buddy, next time.

Next time came sooner than expected.
I now have 2 working IP35 Boards.


I can not duplicate making them work.
