Win 7 Home Basic 64bit has a memory limit of 8GB (reference). For Home Premium 64bit it's 16GB. Professional 64bit, Enterprise 64bit and Ultimate 64bit are 192GB.

Yup. Apologies for the oversight littlestraffen; I made the assumption you had Home Premium or above.

Huh. If you have Home Premium x64, you should be able to run up to 16GB of memory and there is no need to upgrade.

You may want to take the CPU off and see if there are any pins bent, I read a post http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=711055

Check that out.

well 2months ago is replaced the stock cpu whit a cm v8 but i had problems because the cpu cooler didnt came off the cpu so i one of the pins was bent so my dad fixed it to get the pin in the right possion so could that be it?

(srry if i made any mistakes in the language im tired)

If you replaced the stock CPU cooler "WITH" :) a CM V8 and bent a pin, you may want to check again, when you go to remove the V8 cooler, wiggle the cooler so you don't pull the CPU chip out :)
