Can't open hyperlinks?

None of my programs open up Firefox when I click on a hyperlink. I'm running Windows XP SP2, on the administrator account, and Firefox is my default browser. I check inside FF's settings but found nothing. I get this error from word when trying to ctrl+click hyperlinks: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." Anyone got any ideas? :/

Fixed it, nevermind.

For some reason all I had to do was make IE my default browser and then set it back to FF again and it started working.

No clue why, but it worked. Cheers.
