Contest Stats new formula

I have been watching the "Active Processors" for our team, and it reached a high point when we had about 850!

This is awesome, great competition!

I have been pushing my 1.4 T-Bird to the limits also......almost over 1.6 with it! AIR COOLED!

AND I JUST GOT DIRECT TV!!!

you can do it. got mine to 1668 aircooled and still stays pretty cool. right now @ 39c and have been folding with it 24/7. I have been blessed by the aircooling fairy. At the higher overclocks ever 1c helps.

Really? You are Folding then? There have been stretches of time during the last week or so that I've gotten 1.8 points every update. I knew all three rigs were getting force fed bba5 ext's, and were completing them in less than three hours. That one is worth .6 of a point (3 x .6 = 1.8).

You had mentioned quite some time ago you were going to, but the stats didn't seem to take that big of a jump (at least to me...). They did when the 1.0 T-Bird (my Rig 3) got up and running..=)

yeah, thats what i thought too. Some numbscull signed up to fold under Mr_B and not Mr B and not tell the other guy . All is well now though, get ready to take a jump, you got 3.4ghz folding for you now.


BTW, I have been(or really been intending) to fold under Brian's name for a while. So I am not jumping the boat on my own stats or anything, lol. Of course, if WE win, I expect 1/2 of the cpu, lol.

And hell if nothing else.. I have jumped over 20 some places in the last 2 weeks... even before the contest... I was under 250 and am now over 230!~! And that is with 1 rig here... hehe... see my sig.. thats it.. nada more... So all you other multi folding rigs can just bite my buttocks

thats a lot better. might just be me, cassified as color blind but acually only hard to tell some shades of colors apart.

I've been scrambling all day (last two, really) trying to score a case and PSU for short money, to get my P/// 700E up and Folding again, so that I might still have a chance. I got a case for free, and then had to scrounge up a PSU....only thing I could find for cheap used (got for free, too...lol) was a 150W micro ATX wonder.

I finally got WinME to install, and as the rig was going thru the last bit of configuration just before you get to the desktop after install, it died. Mobo, I think. I've tried three different cpu's (P/// 700E, P II 233, and a C300A), and a couple of different sticks of SDRAM, and cleared the CMOS, etc...fans spin up, but no beep, no boot. I don't think all 3 cpu's are dead..... Sounds like the SH6 bit the big one.

The problem turned out to be that cheezy mATX PSU I was trying to use.... I spent a bit of $$ today that I didn't have, and got an Antec 350W... That went into the 8KHA+ rig, and the generic 300W PSU went into Rig 4 (the P///-SH6 combo).

I got the mobo to fire last night briefly with the 150W mATX POS, so I knew at that point, it wasn't the mobo... I got it up and running now...first WU the poor old girl gets is a protienAg29aNat...

Already updated my "sig"...
