I suspect it's our AK_v8 app that's skewing things. I haven't really researched it all that much but from what I remember before optimization both the AP and CUDA apps would come out right about the same as, or slightly higher than, the "standard" crunching app.
In the previous post I mentioned optimization not so much to point out what others don't do but what is normal for us. In our case if the AP or CUDA apps aren't as efficient as AK_v8 then by NOT running AP or CUDA we're helping SETI more running only AK_v8 since we're not wasting CPU clocks on a less efficient app ...
