This is on a LOCKED 2500 Barton.
1G of memory (2x256 1x512) running at 11-3-3-3.
Running the D26 TaiPan 0.1 BIOS above.

That's a real nice overclock on a desktop.... kinda toasty..... what are your temps like?

i don't know of anyone who's had the built-in L12 work. i tried it without the physical L12, and it didn't do anything. do the physical L12, and you'll totally notice the difference.

I did the L12 mod as soon as i got my barton, so i cant comment on before and after, but I am running at 260 fsb, i dunno if that would be possible without L12....but who knows.

To comment on the D26 speed fire, i really didnt like it, no improvement in stability or higher FSB and when i would boot into windows, my taskbar icons would no appear. also, im not the only one experiencing this problem.

hey, does the L12 mod mean I don't have to physically do it on the board anymore?

Yes, and if you've already done the L12 mod then it doesn't matter.

What sata version is in this bios? Is it sata safe?

And what sata version is in the cpc on bios?

im pretty sure it is sata safe, it is based ont he d26 bios, which has resolved this problem long ago, you should be concerned w/ sata if you are using a D10 variant. im pretty sure the one you quoted is a CPC on bios, hence the C at the end of the bios name.
