Help AMD Phenom ii x4 3.47GHz Overclcok

hi i am a complete noob when it comes to overclocking. i bought a Pc the other day and he said it was overclocked,. any way i sum how messed something up and i re installed windows 7.I Could play sc2 on extream before at 90 FPS now i can only play at 40?. i will take any screen shots if need be, but can some one point me in the right direction on how to overclock it .
