How do you pick a motherboard?

ferguson,
the board will run 2 ati cards in CF but will not run 2 NV cards in SLI. this is simply a limitation of NV's drivers, as they have a "scanner" to look for NV based chipset's/southbridges/ECT. if it doesnt see them then it wont enable SLI for the 2 nv cards. which is why you can only get SLI on NV boards and intel skulltrail board(it uses a MCP chip to enable SLI).

if you want SLI then you have to go with the 750i. otherwise ditch the 2 NV cards keep the board you first choose and get 2 4850's.

OK. So if it has an Nvidia chipset then you have to run Nvidia graphics cards IF you want to run dual cards? And if you have an Intel chipset then you have to run ATI cards if you want to run dual cards, is this right?

So if you want to run just one card it doesn't matter which card it is and it doesn't matter which chipset you have, is that right also?

And from a overclocking standpoint is it true that you want Intel chipsets and not Nvidia?
