Here is my new rig i put together, finally got the X2 overclocked to a stable everday speed im happy with. I had to bump the ram from 400 mhz to 333. with a 265x10 fsb the ram is doing 220, not a big overclock on the ram but this kinda of OCZ isnt made for hardcore clocking. Timings are running 2.5-2-3-5 and a HTT of 3. 1.5 volts for the cpu.

At 2.65ghz its perfectly stable with highest temps ive seen around 54c in fear loaded. 30-34 idle.

I spent around $1,200, Is this rig pretty good for the money i spent? I think she is a screamer.

AMD Athlon X2 4200+ @ 2.65ghz
ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
2x512 OCZ Titanium
eVGA 7800 GT CO (486/1200)

3DMark01: 30,106
3DMark03: 17,496
3DMark05: 8,133
3DMark05 CPU Test: 6,262

I was thinking about getting another GT CO and running an SLI setup but i think im going to wait for the G80 series. I do plan on purchasing a 2x1 gig of OCZ Titanium along with these 2 512's.

You got a very nice rig there, nice clocks, and nice scores. Although I'd run the 2x1GB seperate from the other 1GB you have.

Oh, I almost forgot. :welcome:

:) Thanks bud, and yea i was also thinking of running the 2 gigs alone. I also remember reading something about amd chips not liking all 4 dimms being used? Somethin about having to change the ram timings to T2. Is T1 and T2 a noticable hit on performance or only in benchmarks?
