Dont think so. Think its Intel as every chip on the board says Intel.

I find that strange, bad luck I guess. Intel has long had strong support, for at least medium performance in Linux.

Installed Fedora 11 on the same machine and doesnt seem to have any graphic issues yet.

Do "yum install yumex" for the same functionality as add/remove programs in ubuntu. Dunno why they don't include that by default.
