Vexus, you have tons of input already. Seems to me it's time to make a decision and put some money down.

I know, but I don't have a lot of money, so I wanna make sure what I get is for sure gonna be good.

i have a few more questions, and then I will probably decide what to buy...

What's the differences between this mobo and this mobo

And I'm thinking of getting the cooler master case

and either this PSU or this PSU

What do you guys think?

Concerning the two mobos, they are essentially the same spec wise. Same chipset. Same price. I would suggest you give weight to which one sold the best on Egg. I think it's no stretch to say that Asus is the most popular brand with overclockers. Their customer service is not good but most of the other motherboard manufacturers' customer service also stinks.

Concerning the case, there is no better one for the money available. Plenty wide to provide clearance for even the largest air coolers. That's very important in my book.

As far as the PSUs, the enthusiast series is a higher quality product than the builder series.

+1 to what Trents said and to add to the mobo category I personally would stay away from MSI. The voltage regulators tend to go boom! I have experienced it first hand.

Well I mean, they were suggesting I get a new psu anyway, so maybe getting a case would be a good idea too.

Plus, I hate having these HP stickers all over it, and taking them off might get messy and make it look even worse.

Alright, one thing. Now you are in overlocking anyways. Never buy HP or any other brand again. Just build em yourself

Btw also if you get new parts, go for a new cpu cooler. Always not bad at all ;)

I'm never buying a desktop again, I'm gonna buy parts, and build a desktop myself.

Good choices. Now you need to work toward getting a good CPU cooler so you can overclock.

Once I get some money, I'll get a cooler, and then start overclocking..I'm nearly broke right now! xD

Ok, so I've gotten everthing set up, but for some reason, I've been getting more blue screens in 2 weeks than i have had in the past year.

Here's one (idk what to call this, but its like a dump analysis, i guess?)

Any ideas?

MOBO >> You could remove this >> [AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard] >> and REplace that with the version of the motherboard bios.

CPU >> You could remove this completely >> [(came built in on last computer -- HP Pavilion Elite HPE-400y)] >> The reason I say remove some of the stuff is to REplace it with info we need. AND there is a character limit and line limit, so what is not needed may hinder putting up worthwhile information.

Memory >> You need to replace this with >> [4 x 2gb (came with HPE-400y)] >> 4 x 2gb >> Is that four sticks of ram? Need to look on the sides of the ram and look for a part/model number.

NOTE: It would be nice to know what kind of CPU Cooler you have. Maybe it has some writing on it??? Might be a part number. All I am asking about is more detailed information. Other than that is an awesome signature with colors that show up well on a black background with an ole faht's eyes. Hehehe.

Yes but you need to see if you can find/locate the other bits of information as they are often need to know those bits before making a suggestion. Thanks man for being so quick to try to get it done. That is a pure pleasure to see.

RGone...ster.

Everything else good?
