How is it that online merchants can sell parts so cheap? I know they say OEM. How do they get their OEM stuff? What license are required? How do i make it so I could purchase parts at this price. I've just finished building my 18th computer for someone and wouldn't mind getting parts cheaper to actually turn some profit on this.

Large scale PC builders will buy in bulk and will get large discounts in many cases for doing so. Im not sure exactly where they get the parts from. You could always try contacting the manufacturer directly and see about buying direct.

hrmmmm well i wouldn't want to buy more than 100 units at a time. Wonder if that would still get a discount.

Most major manufactuerers only go through distributors. First you need a business or resellers license then you need to sign up with a distributor like D and H http://www.dandh.com/html/nshtml/NSFront.asp or BASS computers for example http://basscomputers.com/. If you want to buy products from a smaller unknown company then you may be able to buy direct.
