Pentium 3 Katmai's Good?(Slot 1)

I have a PIII 450MHz and would like to overclock it but I have a problem how do I do it?
Its on a jumperless motherboard. In bios I can set the speed but it has no effect, cant set voltage can only go up in "50MHz" pieces.
Please help

What kind of motherboard do you have it on? 50MHz intervals sounds like you're trying to adjust the multiplier, and unfortunately it's locked on this particular chip.

Try and find an Abit ST6 (or ST6-RAID if you want raid).

kat cores are BAD overclockers, my roomates PIII 500 wouldnt go past 550 and my PIII 450 wouldnt budge at all.

ST6 looks ok... what's "1CNR slot"??

and how overclockable is this board? do't remember seeing much in the cpu overclock directory....

should i be looking for lots of mobo fan slots or do most only come with 2?
