Slow Raid 5 on Z77 (ASRock Extreme 4)

Right now I am transferring some games from my ssd to my raid 5. Absolutely pathetic speeds. Transferring at 3.38MB/s on the one and only 70KB/s on the other transfer. Reads of course are fine but that writing issue is still plaguing me. At least if I transferred all the data off it would be quick. I get closer and closer every day to taking it all off and doing some comparisons depending on striping. I guess I just haven't gotten desperate enough. Though this moment right now is getting close.
 
It has been over a year since any activity on this post, but what the heck. I just setup RAID 5 on my system, I am using 4x2TB HDDs. My OS is installed on an SSD (C: drive) and the RAID is for data storage (D: drive). Here are my performance stats:
