Sold 4790k..person claims it wont post. Is it his motherboard ?

On the upside 250 bucks for that processor when a 8700k is 300 to 350 dollars is a amazing sell. Pay 50 or 75 bucks more and get a 8700k. Ya tell him to send it back honestly that is a sidegrade for him anyhow. Im scared he might have done something to it to botch up the CPU. Your taking a risk by asking the CPU back you don't know this guy did with it and you might even have bent pins etc.

Intel doesn't use pins on this CPU. If you read the full thread he explains what happened to the CPU when he got it back.
