Zalman CNPS7700-Cu

I have a old CNPS7700-Cu just sitting around gathering dust. I just got my sister a new MB, Ram and CPU. The CPU is a i7-2600K.
The Bracket I need to put the 7700 on the 1155 will cost me around $15 after shipping (I cant find a local store with one ).
Do you think it would be worth the trouble or would I get hardly any improvement over stock?

Probably won't see much improvement over stock. Save your money or invest $15 more and get a new model True Spirit or a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ or Evo for around $30, if you want a significant upgrade to the cooling.
