Alphacool Announces Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-A for RX 6800 Series GPUs

Last week, Alphacool announced the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-A series water blocks for the Radeon RX 6800/6800XT Gaming X Trio and Sapphire RX 6800XT Nitro+ graphics cards. These acrylic, full-coverage blocks feature a solid nickel-plated copper cold plate for maximum cooling and durability. An aluminum backplate is included and is said to improve stability as well as cooling. This marks the first set of water blocks from Alphacool for the 6000 series GPU’s, but we can expect more to come in the near future. Here is the press release from Alphacool.

Alphacool presents the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-A block for the Radeon MSI RX 6800/6800 XT Gaming X Trio and the Radeon Sapphire RX 6800XT Nitro+ graphics cards. The blocks offer outstanding cooling performance thanks to the full cover design. The new backplate, which is included with the coolers, also contributes to this. This stabilizes the graphics card and ensures an even contact pressure of the cooler. The cold plates are made of solid nickel-plated copper. The coolers cover all relevant components such as voltage converters and the graphics memory.

Alphacool Announces Apex Aluminum Backplate for LGA1700 Coolers

Today, Alphacool announced the new Apex aluminum backplate designed for its LGA1700 coolers. The new backplate improves the structural rigidity of the motherboard and socket compared to the stock Intel mount while providing “significant improvements in cooling performance”. The backplate is currently available on the Alphacool website for $16.64 plus shipping and any applicable taxes.
