BayWatch

Have you ever heard of BayTSP?

If you haven’t, and especially if you think you’re perfectly safe using P2P or that nobody can legally find out what you have on your computer and then bust you for it, you really need to find out about them before you get a letter like this.

Are You Beavis Or Butthead?

There’s a Beavis and Butthead episode in which the two are watching TV watching law enforcement raid a house. Their house. They keep watching TV and seeing themselves getting whacked around and handcuffed, and it never dawns on them that they’re watching themselves getting busted.

Is your bulb that dim? I know there’s some dark ones out there.

If you do this sort of thing, and think to yourself, “It’s pretty unlikely these people are going to come after me,” this article isn’t meant for you. You’re probably right.

This article is for the people who think, “I can’t be touched. I have {some either ignorantly or delusionally imagined} rights.” Believe me, some of what I’ve seen looks like Beavis and Butthead discussing constitutional lawyers.

The reality is no, you don’t and companies like this prove it.

If you want to play the odds on this, that’s one thing. If you think you cannot be busted for doing this, then I’m sorry, but you are a butthead and it’s better to hear that now than hearing it from some FBI guy later.

If you read the article, you’ll know that big-time movie file sharers are going to get raided real soon. Maybe one or two of them are reading this. I’m sure at least some of them think they’re safer than a saint in the arms of Jesus. They’re going to find out otherwise.

What will they be called then? Geniuses? Or buttheads?
