Today, Budapest-based software company, FinalWire announced the availability of the latest iteration of AIDA64 stress-testing and benchmarking software. The new v3.20 adds compatibility for newer hardware and software used by consumers and professionals, including the reviewers here at Overclockers.com.
The latest AIDA64 update extends its multi-threaded benchmarking and stress-testing capabilities to cover up to 128 logical processors and 2 processor groups, implements support for Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 operating systems, and supports the latest graphics and GPGPU computing technologies.
Worth noting is the support for DirectX 11.2, OpenGL 4.4, APP SDK 2.8.1, OpenCL 1.2 SPIR on the software side, while the hardware support has been extended to include socket FM2+ and LGA-1150 motherboards, newer Intel and Samsung SSD offerings, as well as NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 760 and upcoming GeForce GTX 650Ti. The new version is also said to have optimized benchmarking for Intel’s latest Core i7 Ivy Bridge-E processors.
