Last night, for some reason, my screen started to flicker. In games, there would be a horizontal line(about an inch wide across the screen) flickering in black and white. I just recieved this a week ago, and dont overclock it . Anyone else have this problem and know how is solved, or any other thoughts on what mthis might be and how to handle it? I took screenshots of the distortion...but the screenshots would not show it. Actually, the screens looked like the card was in perfect condition....so I dont think I ca capture the distortion to show others unless I use Fraps to video record it.Anyway, some input would really be appreciated!

if a scrennie doesnt show the distortion... its probably the monitor or cableing. thats usually the case.

The monitor is securely fastened to the card, and I get no distortion when I install my 7900GT...so my guess is that its the card.

I had same problem with my 7900GTX, turns out it was bad RAM.

Its possible that you got a bad card, it happens once in a wile. Just RMA it.
