Alright...I'll try to answer this one, but if you search the forums you'll find more on this topic. The p4t-e will support both types. The only difference is that the 8 device rimm uses the newer 256 megbit technology, while the 16 device rimm uses the more mature 128 megabit technology. If you are going to overclock your system (which I kinda think you will because you are reading this forum) you should get the 16 device rimm because they overclock a lot better than the 8 device rimms. I have read that rigs that use 8 device rimms frequently can't get over 120 or 125 mhz FSB.
