I'm looking for a 5 1/4 " inch CD-RW drive that isn't very deep.

Standard depth hits the powers cords of my PSU, so I'm wanna know if I can get smaller ones. (non external)

flixotide,

Current LG's are almost as short as cdrws can be (taking into account they should hold a full cd inside). Go for the GCE-8480B or
GCE-8400B. They are both same (short) size, and I've got both side by side to a Pioneer DVD standard full size, and the difference can be noticed !! (about 3-4 inches shorter)

EDIT: does the same go for the DVD combo version as well? I might just pop in the DVD option...

Awesome guys.. thanks..... I've had good experiences with LG's 52x drives... so I'll opt for the LG one..
