I just installed the ENB mod and it looks awesome! I was just messing around with my ini. file and noticed the max ansitropy is set to 8. Do you think if I set it to 16 it will bork my game?

I think you could probably get away with it, you have Xfire 6970s so you should be good I'd think.

I just tried it, I was getting around 40 FPS with it set to 16, with it at 8 I hit a constant 60 with vsync on.

Couple more screens

Geez I thought my Skyrim looked good. Sadly at 2560x1440 a single GTX 580 doesn't cut it to mass-mod like yours. I've got some lightning mod, enhanced shaodws, better water, HD textures and such. I keep FXAA on; but AA/AF off. It's the only way to keep my frames constant enough close to 60 lol. ><

Did it increase the IQ of the game? Was the extra ansitropy noticable? I have not tryed it yet but most likely will tomorrow.

LOL, yeah I have two GTX 570s and I play at 1680x1050. I have my AA on 4 and AF on 8. Off the top of my head, the texture mods I have are: Skyrim HD 2K Textures, Realistic Water and Terrain, Vurts Flora Overhaul, Realistic Ice, Detailed Bodies, Detailed Faces, Realistic smoke and embers, better beast races, high quality eyes. That's it, I think there might be one or two more I am missing. You should be able to use the ENB mod I am using though, it actually didn't really torque my performance all that bad unlike some of the others which is weird because it blows all the others I've used out of the water.

It was a little noticeable, but nothing really significant, I definitely didn't think it was worth a 20 FPS performance hit.

^Nice. I find it amusing I can expand all your images.. And still have plenty of room around them hahaha. As much as I'd love to play all games maxxed out.. I love this resolution more! XD.

But that looks nice dude. Even without any real mods. Have you changed the ini file at all for shadows?

No I just barely got it reinstalled last night. I went through a series of HW changes over the last two weeks. I mostly posted those for a buddy to see the stats. I have about 5gb worth of community created mods that are going to be installed. When its all over Ill probably end up dropping the AA and AF down a bit.

So I downloaded the 295.76 drivers earlier and it did improve skyrim a bit over 290.55 but mostly it fixed some of the weirdlness that was happening in a few other programs.

So these are after I installed a couple of mods, CBBE, Killer Keos CBBE armor, high res night sky Im running at close to 1GB vRam all the time now. I previously had enhanced blood, HD landscapes, flora, clutter, dragons, and NPC clothing installed ontop of these so im not sure how hard that vRam limit really is. If it takes up GPU utilization but doesnt drop my framerate IDC. I imagine that the 8x AA, 16x AF, + FXAA have something to do with why its running so high.

Those screens look epic! Makes me angry I had to buy for PS3!!, I got it for PC but requires huge update to play and I'm on terrible connection.

Thanks :) I actually had it on Xbox for a while but then sold it and then got it for PC when it went on sale on Steam. The ENB mod is really what makes the visuals in my Skyrim look so amazing, and honestly if you get Skyrim installed you'd probably be able to run the ENB mod I am using, it gave me almost no performance hit.

Currently these are ALL of the mods I have installed:
Atmospheric ENB series
Skyrim HD - 2K Textures
Realistic Water and Terrain
Vurt's Skyrim Flora Overhaul
Realistic Smoke and Embers
Real Ice
SkyUI
Improved NPC Clothing
Detailed Faces
Detailed Bodies
High Quality Eyes
Believable Hair
Better Beast Races
Better Gold
Enhanced Blood Textures
Realistic Ragdolls and Force
Midas Magic: Skyrim
Phenderix Magic Evolved
Skyrim Monster Mod
Daedric Armor and Weapon Improvement
Ebony 4K - Black & Gold Ebony Armor
Ebony Weapons w/ Gold Ornaments HD - Complete Set
JaySuS Swords
Weapons of the Third Era

...damn that's a lot of mods, I really didn't realize how many I had until I just listed them. Lol.

Hey ssjwizard. What is the program that you use to monitor your GPU's? The one with the pink overlay in your screenshots. Is it a Nv exclusive proggy? I would like to rty it on my X-fire setup.

Thats the MSI Afterburner OSD

Indeed thats MSI AB OSD. it basically just runs rivatuner statistics server and gives you a gui to configure it. I use low detection, framebuffer mode, TR corner -4H,-14V but you can move it all over the place. Then you just set what you want from MSI AB in the monitoring tab of the settings page by checking show in OSD.

Its pretty handy. Since I also use it to OC my cards its kinda all in one for me.

Thank you. For some reason it is not showing my 6950 that is flashed to 6970 in X-fire. I may need to tweak it more when I get time.

Is there a program that installs these mods, etc? I just got the game a few days ago and haven't played Morrowind or Oblivion, so I'm a noob to mods for this game.

Thanks.

Yes, it is called the Nexus Mod Manager the program is still in Beta form. Many users here have experienced no problems with it. Unfortunatly, I have, I have tryed to install it several times but cannot get the program to initialize. It installs fine but when I try to start it up the 1st time it fails to load proprly. I get the NMM box and select Skyrim but the box just flashes and fails...everytime. :( All of my mods are installed manually.
