Just yesterday I put together an i5 750 on an Asus Sabertooth 55i w/ 4G 1333 DDR3. Here's what I've got with no OC'ing and just the stock Intel cooling in a stock HAF 932...

Is this legal on the bot yet? I feel like there should be no OS exclusions. If we take the time to tweak and setup a better OS, we should reap the rewards.

What do you mean? I am new to linux on a server. If you want info on the box, you will have to give me the commands for hardware etc.

I'm wondering if scores run on Linux are valid for uploading on www.hwbot.org. They impose ridiculous rules to try and even the playing field when they just limit the creativity and development of the sport, basically.
 
Nah, the software itself is different too.
It'd have to be it's own benchmark.
Now if you were running the proper version of spi1m on linux via WINE or something, that has a better chance of being legal.
