Well I was bored so today I decided to screw with the settings again on my vp6. I was able to hit 160 fsb (1200mhz) but it was a bit unstable so I backed down to 150 fsb and decided to drop the voltage for the third time. my pIII 1000EB cdo's are rated for 1.75 volts and now their runing smoothly at 1.60 V overclocked to 1125mhz. 1.55V may just be arround the corner. haha.

well caffine hog i might get there. check this out. 1.57V. In the bios I have it set to 1.55V. thats 0.20V under normal and the p3's are still running at 1125 mhz.

I've got something like this :)

P-III 800EB @ 900 with 1.70v Later on today I will try to get 1000 or 996 Mhz with the same V's :) my FSb will only goto 166 so 6x166=996 :)

I'm down to 1.50V now and everything seems stable so far. This is insane. Thats 0.25V under whats its suppose to be.

Correction now I'm at 1.45V and still at 1125mhz (150 fsb).

Insane. I think so.

A friend of mine crippled his c333 when he put it on a 1.3V diet.

By crippled I mean that afterwards he couldn't oc it above 333mhz anymore (it did over 450 with >2.0Volts) because it crashed at Voltages higher than 1.7Volt.

So you may want to be careful. hehe

I HIGHLY doubt a celeron 333 could run at 1.3V. Those chips used something like .25 micron cores and I believe they were alluminium, not copper.

By lowering the voltage, I've managed to lower my load temps about 7-8 degrees C.

whoa 1.3V is ridiculous for a cel 333 since default voltage is 2.0V. Apparently just like overvolting undervolting can harm a chip too. Whenever I've tried seting the vcore too low the system wouldn't even boot at all.

My 1.2 PIII tualatin would do 900MHz on 1.05v. THat was the lowest settting it would goto. I am almost positive it would have went lower. I could run 1.2GHz on 1.2v without HS fan. Same with my 1.2 cel-t. It would run 1.2GHz/1.25v with only HS and no fan.

My Cel 1.0A@1G with a fanless HS ran at 1.104v at the lowest. Overclocked, it did 1.294G at 1.376v.
